SIFT

SIFT, Front Page

SIFT is a New Orleans based interdisciplinary arts organization with a focus on book arts. The organization “explores the intersections where sequence, image, form, and text converge.” SIFT needed a website that would showcase its upcoming events, projects, blog entries, press, resources, and contact form. The site is also synched with a mail-chimp account that powers the organization’s newsletter.

Conni Castille – Folklorist / Filmmaker

Conni Castille

Conni Castille is a filmmaker, teacher and philosophy scholar. Her films include T-Galop: A Louisiana Horse Story, King Crawfish, I Always Do My Collars First, and Raised on Rice and Gravy. Conni needed a site that would showcase her films, including trailers, accolades, screenings, and photography. She also needed a home for her production company T-Tiny Films.

Louisiana Folklore Society

The Louisiana Folklore Society requested a website that would showcase its members’ films, books, photography, music, articles and other works. I created a customized user interface, allowing society members to log in and update all of the site’s information through posts. Other site features include: customized theme, personalized header, image slideshow on home page, customized calendar, video tutorials, paypal integration, Facebook button, donate button, contact form, and automatic database backup.

e/Prime Media – Kevin McCaffrey

e/Prime Media

e/PRIME Media is Publishing and MultiMedia Production / Visual Communications / Cultural Strategies / Design Research. Executive Producer Kevin McCaffrey needed a site that showcased recent and archived work including documentary films, oral histories, a blog, and other published writings. Mr. McCaffrey also needed clients to reach him easily through a user-friendly contact form and subscription system. The site also features an on-line shopping cart and scrolling banner for upcoming and recent events.

Slices Of America – Photo/Video Blog with Podcast

Site Features: blog-powered site, integrated mapping, podcast (linked to iTunes), multiple site administrators, site-wide search feature, twitter, facebook, and stumbleupon buttons, and contact form.

Jan Gilbert – Artist

Jan Gilbert is a visual artist. She describes her work as “multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and collaborative” and therefore needed a site that was flexible enough to categorize and display her work which includes various projects, artist books, mixed/photo media, and collaborations. In addition, the site includes a subscription feature, a blog complete with social media links, an easy to use contact form, and downloadable PDF files of her CV, bio, and statement.

Jim Richard – Artist
